Press DemocratBy Jeff Miller1992If you're a woodworker, you can expect to see more of Petaluma furniture maker Jeff Dale's technical tips in Fine WoodWorking, a bimonthly reader-written magazine. Dale wrote 'Shaping with a Router,' the magazine's April cover story. He shared his ideas on shaping, rounding and mortising operations with a router, template and jigs, which were illustrated with photographs of Dale making an armoire using these techniques. 'We worked over a period of a year on the article,' Dale said. 'I'm primarily a chairmaker, but that article was about cabinets. As a furniture maker, I've done one of just about everything anyone would want in a home: bedroom chest of drawers, armoire, beds of different sizes.'.... |
